Contrary to some of the information we had been given, Freiburg gets snow. Quite a bit of snow too. One morning in late November, this is how our "backyard" looked:
By the afternoon, most of the snow had already melted, but Erika and Grandma hoofed it outside to try and make a snowman (it is slightly visible below):
Little did we know, there would be many more opportunities to test our snowman-building prowess.
